The 2010 Scottish Half Marathon will take place on the same day as the full Edinburgh Marathon but is planned to start earlier, ensuring only one set of runners on the course at any one time. However, it will still capture the big race excitement of the Edinburgh Marathon and the grandstand finish at Musselburgh Racecourse.
With around 25,000 runners expected to enter the 2010 Edinburgh Marathon, Scottish Half Marathon and Hairy Haggis Team Relay it will now be one of the biggest running festivals in the UK. With an elevation drop of 40 metres the route is a must for anyone seeking a PB.
