Cheque Presentation.
Big-hearted Nicola Aitken asked for donations to her favourite charity Ayrshire Cancer Support instead of gifts at her recent birthday bash in St Josephs Church Hall. Nicola benefited from the services of Ayrshire Cancer Support during her own illness a few years ago and since then her birthday party has grown to become a fabulous fundraiser. She is pictured presenting Ann Porter of Ayrshire Cancer Support with a cheque for a whopping £2450. Ann said, “We rely entirely on public donations. Without people like Nicola and her friends we would struggle to continue providing our services to cancer patients and their families throughout Ayrshire. We are so grateful to Nicola for her support.”
